| TL;DR: For high-value treatments, patients may travel thousands of miles when they trust the person treating them. That trust can start long before the consultation. We suggested helping a cosmetic dental clinic demonstrate its expertise through content that shows how its dentists think, while also being present when prospective patients are actively comparing whom to trust. |
A prospective client recently asked us a deceptively simple question: How do we push the brand further?

It was a cosmetic dental clinic looking to attract affluent patients, including people willing to travel internationally for cosmetic dental treatment. Here is how we responded, with identifying details removed.
Hi Sara,
We spent some time looking at the dental clinic with your question in mind: how do we push the brand further?
While doing this, I kept thinking about a personal experience.
A couple of years ago, I flew from Singapore to Bangalore for surgery to remove two large uterine fibroids, around 13 cm and 11 cm.
Before choosing my doctor, I had consulted 3–4 gynaecologists. Most told me that given the complexity, I would need to have my uterus removed. At 41, I really didn’t want that.
Then I found a doctor through Instagram.
Her content wasn’t generic health advice. She would talk about complex surgeries, explain what made them difficult, and show how she approached them.
When I eventually consulted her, she told me something that no other gynaecologist had told me: “We must try to retain the uterus for as long as we can.”
She did.
That demonstrated expertise was ultimately the deal-maker for us. I trusted her enough to get on a flight from Singapore and have her operate on me, though no one from my family lives in Bengaluru.
It made me think about your dental clinic.
Your website already does a good job educating someone considering veneers for gaps, crooked teeth, discoloration, etc.
But there is an opportunity to do much more to demonstrate why someone looking for exceptional cosmetic dentistry should travel to your clinic and trust you with their smile.
Two things stood out:
1. Show the expertise behind exceptional smile transformations
People actively research celebrity smiles. “Tom Cruise smile,” for example, gets ~5,400 global searches/month.
Rather than celebrity gossip, the clinic could use such searches to demonstrate its expertise: what makes a smile work, what makes a result look natural, what complexities a dentist considers, and how its proprietary veneer technique approaches these challenges.
Much like my surgeon’s content did for me, you’re giving someone a chance to experience your expertise before they ever speak to you.
Here is a sample article from another dentist: The Secret to Tom Cruise’s Perfect Smile.
2. Be there when someone is choosing whom to trust
| Keyword | Global Search Volume | UK Search Volume | Difficulty | Clinic today |
| best cosmetic dentist | 1,800 | 200 | 35 | No page in top 100 |
| best dentist for veneers | 600 | 20 | 5 | Ranking, but with a PR-led page |
| best dentist for smile makeover | 200 | 60 | NA | No page in top 100; currently running Google Ads |
The “best dentist for veneers” result particularly caught our attention.
Ranking prominently is fantastic. But the page ranking is essentially a PR-led piece. It says you’re one of the best without doing enough of the heavy lifting to help someone understand why your clinic should be their choice, particularly when you have a differentiated veneer technique and deep expertise behind the treatment.
Additionally, the fact that your highly personalied sales process converts well also tells us that the sales team is sitting on a gold mine of content: the questions, concerns, objections, and decision criteria that come up repeatedly in these conversations can be turned into content that does the trust-building and makes conversion a mere formality.

That’s where I think the opportunity lies.
Not simply more traffic or more content. Build enough evidence of your expertise online that the right patient is willing to travel for it.
That’s what happened with me.
Curious if this is close to what you have in mind when you say you want to push the brand further?
Best,
Aditi
I’m sharing this email because the underlying idea applies well beyond cosmetic dentistry.
When the stakes are high, people don’t just look for a service provider. They look for evidence that they can trust the person behind the service. Good content can start building that trust long before the first conversation.
